What do you know about 2004 Royal Enfield Bullet 500cc?

Looks like I can pick a fixer upper for low price locally.  I like the looks, seems it's carburated, just a fun little scoot.  Built in India.

i think people call them an acquired taste , think of it as a 60 year old bike and you wont be far wrong . very slow and poor quality . not trying to put you off plenty of indians love them !

I have a friend that loves his, about that age model. He uses it a lot and has fun with it.

In case you are wondering - I talked myself out of it.   :)

Main reason is that I am not a polisher, I only have working vehicles.  Nothing wrong with pretty, shiny bikes and cars but it's just not me. 

A dual sport would fit me much better.
