Source for wheel hoops
« on: March 14, 2007, 01:46:11 PM »
Anybody have a source for wheel hoops before I sandblast mine & get them powder coated or plated again? Amazinly the spokes / nipples cleaned up to where they almost look new... rim had a bunch of rust and just won't cut it.      76 CB550F
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

I sourced Buchanans and central wheel in UK. Buchanans has more knowledge of CB750 wheels, they even have a stock no. for spokes.

Central wheel couldn't tell me if their hoop's profile matches Honda's. Their price for polished stainless is competitive though.

If you go the refinish way look for cracks around the spoke holes before putting any money or effort into them.
