To the Brits, the boot is their trunk. The hood is a roof on a convertible and a bonnet is a hood!
They call fenders on a car, “wings”.

They also say “brake horsepower”, where we says horses or ponies.

"Squid". Apparently HD guys say that here in the US as well, but I'm way out of the loop on biker lingo.

I'm so far out of the biker/rider loop, I can see it on a clear night if I use a fairly inexpensive telescope.

Sort of, I have a 30'x48' shop to play in. If you want you can come over and check out the bikes. You live around here don't you?

Kaw/Kwaka are both great. My older brother says "Kawi" but I say "Quack" or "Quacker"

Chook-chaser is a new level of awesome. I don't have anything that good to share.

Here "donk" is a gentle smack. Like when you donk someone on the head for being a smart ass. Sounds a bit like doink too, which is arguably better than a donk.
A donk is also a large coupe or four door sedan, preferably from the 70’s or 80’s, that’s all jacked up like a 4x4 with huge low profile tires and big rims.  They usually have a high volume audio system that rattles the whole car.

in australian terms a bogan mobile would be anything that can rip a monster burn out ( usually in a suburban street ) , usually an old falcon or commodore with an owner who is either an overpaid tradie or a meth head ( tradie is an australian term for tradesman -plumber, builder, carpenter etc who has more money than either sense or taste, a lot of those guys are pulling 6 figure wages  and tend to spend it on hot cars, stupidly large utes, cocaine and gambling )

Hitting a bit close to the trailer park now.

I did own a Falcon, but it had a straight 6, so no brodies or burn outs. ...I do recall doing a "Dukes of Hazard" jump over a rather large railroad crossing hump once... but I don't use meth, never had a mullet and have all my front teeth. There is however a banjo in the house at this moment and I lived in quite a few "mobile home" parks as a child.

But I ain't no hick...y'unnastan?

there used to be a level crossing in a suburb called fairfield and the tracks were well over a foot above the uphill approach to it, i could even get air on a vespa over that...awesome fun.
they put the tracks underground years ago so no more fun on that one

Donk.

There’s actually a drag racing scene for these things.  There was a short lived tv series about it.

The Japanese culture has a class of bikes that are generally annoying bozuki or something like that. Exaggerating high handle bars and lights and chrome and revving to the moon... hoodlums on bikes in some regard. Often choppered front forks...huge front fairings. Tacky paintwork (IMHO)

Not to stray off topic too far, but I just watched a bit of "Upper Middle Bogan", then a few news interviews with bogans in em'... We have tons of people like that in America. I don't see much of a difference actually. We have a few sub-divisions: White trash, rednecks, hicks and yokels. Hicks and yokels are just small town folk that don't venture out of their community much.

A redneck isn't necessarily white trash. They tend to be about "country culture" and what they think of as REAL America. They are also patriotic to a fault. My granddad was from Montana. He wore sh*t-kickers and a belt buckle the size of his fist with a steer on it. He went hunting by HORSEBACK. When I was in grammar school he taught me to ride his horse, shoot a pistol and throw an actual lasso. (Not at the same time) When I was over at my grandparents house, I would grab my rifle and say "I'm going out to play" and grandma would just say "Don't shoot my sheep!" Grandma was a normal lady, grandpa was a redneck -- but he wasn't white trash.

White trash are poor, undereducated folk. A white trash dad would bring a beer to his kids' school play, and drink it as he put his feet up on the seat in front of him. White trash try their hardest to enjoy life in spite of hardship... but their idea of fun often lands them in jail, missing teeth, or in ways that are so ridiculous that the rest of America makes fun of them. On the other hand... white trash have awesome food. Spam on Wonderbread, with a side of Mac n' Cheese and some store-brand pop, are you kiddin' me?! BABY! Hook me up! Two shows about white trash, are "Trailer Park Boys" and "King of the Hill". Basically documentaries.

And now, I'm gonna go watch Nascar.

...okay I was leaving until Japan came up...hold my sake'.

The bosozoku hold a special annoyance for me, so please forgive my rant. For those of you who don't already know about bosozoku「暴走族」or "Speed Tribes" they are a rare anti-culture phenomenon in Japan.

In Japan you're considered a kid until age 20, and you can't be sent to jail until then. Kids can get away with a lot. Even though the heyday of the Bosozoku was the 80's, they're still around now in a different form. In the 80's, the subculture was all about crazy looking cars and bikes, and pissing off adults. ...kinda like Punk if it had wheels instead of music. Now bosozoku are less about tricking out their ride, and more about annoying the public.

If you do a Google Image Search for "Bosozoku Motorcycle" you'll see what RAFster122s was talking about. I thought their bikes were kinda cool until I moved there. Bosozoku tend to be teens that steal motorcycles or scooters and ride em' til they get bored or they break them. They get their buddies ride in parallel on the highway, filling up all the lanes, then drive 5 or 10 mph while rapping the throttle constantly, making a lot of noise and pissing off the cars behind them. They do that in the middle of the night so that they can wake more people up.

Sometimes they'll go out into an intersection and just ride around and around in circles, blocking traffic. Cops won't touch them or allow them to be hurt because they are "kids". So the public just wags a collective finger, frowns and...that's about it.

I don't think Nascar is gonna help me now... it's going to have to be monster trucks or school bus drag-racing...

I learned from getting my Mexican license exam that "escape" (es-kah-peh) is exhaust, as well as some other names for bike parts in the exam. It also somewhat ended a mystery for me as there are signs here that say "close your escape" in tunnels and I couldn't figure it out (and my Mexican wife didn't know either). It still doesn't make too  much sense -- how do you close your exhaust when you go through a tunnel? -- but it makes for a good comeback, in English or Spanish. Shut your escape!

In Indonesia they're knalpot, directly borrowed from the Dutch as I understand.

Close your escape... wtf? Even if you could close your mufflers off, that would be bad.
For some reason "Shut cher pie hole" came screaming into my mind when you said "Close your escape"
