So, i was searching the forum just using the word "font" because I wanted to make a template of the 750 Four that goes on the side cover.  I am wanting to paint it on the seat cowl that I still need to make.

I had no idea sooo many people misspelled the word "front" and typed "font".   :o
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Blame Google, it dies some messed up autocorrects these days and unlike before it prompting or highlighting the changes, now it just automatically misspells and moves on...If you do not go back and reread your fat fingered typing gets thrown in a long with Google's help and you get some strange stuff.
Doubt people misspelled it, bet it was Google being pushy and unhelpful...

That's a lot of bike for a first one!
My first regular ride was a CT90, then a 106cc Puch (Allstate), then I got a REAL motorcycle when I bought a SuperHawk!
Someone told me the SuperHawk "wasn't enough power for the Chicago freeways". Huh. Never seemed to struggle with that one?
Then I added a 1968 CL350.
Then the 750 came out... ;)

Or, it could be human error…  ;)

I did mention fat fingered typing. Lol

I still remember my first CB750 ride: it was a customer's sandcast and had reached the 300 mile 1st-service marque, which was free to the owner. It was to change the oil & filter, check/adjust the points and both chains, change the sparkplugs,  set the valve lash, and test-ride at least 3 miles to determine if the carbs needed re-syncing, and act accordingly to that.

Just 1/2 mile from the shop was an open-grate steel bridge over a large creek and I headed out that direction for the test ride. When I rode over the bridge the amount of 'road wobble' the steel treads caused spooked me big time (linear-rib front tires suffer this a lot), and I never went over 50 MPH on the test ride, still shaking when I got back to the shop! I was scared to death I'd crash someone's [hard-to-get] 750...but then, I also never needed to go past 2nd gear to reach the test speed.

That hooked me, for good. ;)

Well, things are looking good so far.  It's almost done.  Expect to put it on the street this weekend, weather permitting.

It's all painted and the seat is done (I may redo it).  Doing a diamond stitch on a little Brother sewing machine was a little tricky, doable but tricky.  She runs, I will vacuum sync it again and try to get it dialed in as I can.  Still a little smokey but not bad.

I could probably just dig in and figure it out but I have a question.  New controllers from Vintage CB750, the left controller has a small issue.  The turn signals work (flash) only when the selector is slightly pressed to the left or right.  The turn signal is solid when the selector is all the way over in the left or right position.  Anything in particular that I should look at in the controller?
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Is controls doing this with bike running? Often flasher won't work unless bike is running.

Surprised it is working before it moves into detent but not when fully over, sound like it might be a switch contact problem.

Hey Rick...fantastic, just in time for the great Fall riding season!   Others gave good advice on the flasher issue.

It rode well and sounded good. The Kid and his sister enjoyed riding it today. Hah, so did I. So, it's a rider!

Still working the flasher issue. The issue is in the controller. I have the left flashing but the right flash is intermittent. Even though it was new, part of the detent thing that connects the 6 tabs is a little bent up. Bought it too long ago to do a return. Flasher is good.

Yup, still have it!  Trying to revive the battery, it appears to be succeeding. I am sure I will need to clean the carbs and all that.
