yeah.....but I'm guessing if they were color, the cost would've been really high..It's 440+/-  pages of bikes

That ia a US model ID book that has a honda part number and used to be orderable from any dealer at reasonable cost BUT i believe it is now discontinued and when available is expensive PLUS it is only US models and you cant guarantee numbers run in line with other countries

bryan,I want to get a non-US(Euro?)version of the Honda ID book;is that possible in any way ?

Nope, never one printed, i have a very early uk pamphlet type of about 4 pages dated 74 ish
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

bryan,do you know a website that has all the Euro Honda models with specs similar to the I.D. book ?

Fraid not, but if you can get hold of the relevant parts book it will tell you what model years and frame numbers relate

Thanks all for your wonderful guidance and support. Pleased to announce that following a little bit of a wait from Honda and the Post Office I now have definitive proof that my bike was manufactured on the 27th October 1978. BOOM, so happy. This will allow me to re-register to black and white plates with the DVLA.

So not a 1981 model at all but a cb650z 78.
