Negative wire position help please.
« on: September 21, 2023, 04:53:13 PM »
The heavy gauge black ground wire coming out of the enge goes??
I have a heavy gauge black wire bolted to the big engine stud that goes to the battery negative lug.
Does the other one I mention 🤔  go there to or elsewhere?
 Thanks

Not 100% sure what you mean but i think you are talking about the power lead to starter in which case NO

It goes to one of the terminals on the starter solenoid. The solenoid's other one goes to the (+) side of the battery.
