Its saveable. And it can be registered when its running and working. No reason to buy another frame. The carbs are so hard to put together. Since im not a mechanic. And have never done anything this major to a bike before. And separating the carbs was the biggest mistake i have ever done.
Which manual are you working out of? If you have the Clymer, then yeah you're already at a disadvantage. It doesn't do a good job of describing the separation and reassembly procedures. What you should be working with is the one that Honda wrote. It is posted in the Manuals & Tech Documents section of this forum. Every single thing about disassembly and reassembly is described.
This isn't impossible, I promise. We all start somewhere. My CB650 carbs were the first I really got my hands dirty with, and now I can rebuild them with my eyes closed. Maybe. You can too eventually. But also, please abandon hopes for the pod filters. They're nothing but trouble.
