Faster swingarm rebuilds!
« on: March 13, 2007, 06:39:04 PM »
I have relocated the lathe and tools to my garage, instead of 6 miles away in another shop. On days that are above 40 degrees, I can work here, now, which means I can rebuild an arm in a week, not 2-3 weeks, like it has been.

Thanks to all of you who have endured the 4-6 weeks' delay caused by the winter here and my machinists' getting sick: you've been very patient. They're almost all finished now, just one left. We've had a week of nice weather!

If anyone else wanted a rebuild, drop me a PM. I've cut bushing blanks for 10 more swingarms (CB350-750, all "K" and "F" models) to help speed things along in the future.
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Sure can, Jonesy! I've also got a 550 "extra" arm I'm going to rebuild for an "exchange" service for those guys who don't mind swapping out the arm altogether, or maybe have a wrecked one. Compliments of another SOHC-er!
