CB550 mixture screw washer/o-ring
« on: October 01, 2023, 06:52:48 PM »
Can someone tell me the dimensions of the mixture screw washer and o-ring for a 1978 cb550 (carb PD46C). My guess is it’s 5mm OD, 3mm ID, and .5mm thick, but I haven’t been able to find anything that definitively says this. And the only place I’ve found them is eBay and they’re obviously Chinese which doesn’t give me a good feeling about how precise they’ll be and how well the o-rings will hold up.
I also need the dimensions for the o-ring on the carb drain screw if someone has that.
Any thoughts on where to buy good bowl gaskets. I have seen some kits with bowl gasket and o-rings, but again no washer and don’t know how good the kits are.
Thanks.

I've had good luck with the ones from PartsNmore, #48-0791.
They are here:

Its tiny and i have never managed to measure one.
Sirius Consolidated in Canada do list both but only in 50 packs i think and their website is a real pain to find things on
