Riders Guide for Honda Fours Magazine
« on: October 06, 2023, 02:54:55 PM »
I met this gentleman on Facebook who was kind enough to send a part I needed for my cb750. Back
In the day he would build these bikes for drag racing and ran 10.20’s.

We were talking a for a bit and he showed me this magazine that detailed building a cb750. He’s on the hunt for this magazine and I thought I’d make a post on here seeing if there is anyone who would like to part with it. A long shot but thought I’d ask for him and try and return the favor.

Did you get it? I see it's not there now.

I remember reading magazines like that all through my teenage years. They are a big reason I ride now.
Then my uncle bought a one year old 77' Kawasaki KZ 1000 LTD when I was 18yo and it was over.
I saved up and bought my first new bike two years later, a 1980 CB 650 Custom. I figured a KZ 1000 might be a bit much for a beginner. I now own my uncles KZ 1000 LTD and it is back on the road. 8)

It's funny now seeing the prices for those aftermarket frames. The 750 was selling new for $1750 by 1973 (it started at $1495 for 3 months, then went to $1695 in 9/69).
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.
