Help me figure out this mystery
« on: October 07, 2023, 12:33:34 PM »
On my CB400F I've got all my wiring reinstalled. Except for 2 mystery wires.
All the components are accounted and wired except for one solid brown wire coming into the head light shell from the main harness. As well I have 1 solid green wire coming from the flasher lead.
I've looked everywhere... nothing to plug into them into.
 What am I missing?

The green(ground) is an extra in case someone wants to use a 3 prong flasher.

The brown is for countries that have a "pilot light" in the headlamp and the green is a ground for 3 wire flashers fitted also in different counties

The original Honda wiring diagrams will show what connectors are connected and which are not. Just select the appropiate one for your market. Some models have no less than five different wiring diagrams. Also useful to see if there's any 'blind' wire you can use for an accessory.
