Cb750 carb kits-What is the best?
« on: October 17, 2023, 06:27:11 PM »
Starting a new 750 K4 project and the first order of business is the carb rebuild. The last Keyster kit I got for my 400F was crap! Any suggested alternatives? Stock exhaust and air box.

Cb750k roundtops?  No kit needed.  You will need o-rings for the fuel tees.  That is usually all.  Original float bowl gaskets are indestructible unless you mess with them...so don't mess with them.  No other rubber in these carbs...
If it works good, it looks good...

Just verify the brass is Keihin in the carbs and throughly clean them and reuse.

Verify needles when apart.
Stock needles, no aftermarket.

Like the other folks mentioned you should keep the original Keihin parts if they are in good condition.
If they are you shouldn't need anything more than the "packing" kit.
It's PN 16010-300-305 and it still available from Honda.
