Coulda gotten rich!
« on: November 07, 2023, 08:22:50 PM »
I see the stock 750 points covers are almost $200 now, Early fenders have skyrocketed in price too. Why didn't I buy a boatload of that stuff when it was still cheap?
But the real question is, what parts are next to turn into chromed gold?

Yamiya are not greedy as other sellers.

Shipping cost another thing. But that is the shipper.

The  SOHC cover an alternative. Can be found elsewhere too.

One strange detail though.
Same seller has same cover for double $$?
https://z1parts.net/honda-cb750-chrome-points-cover-sohc/

It will look like stock for most people except classic bike interested.

I don't think it was cheap back then. When you see what some of todays classic car and bike prices were back then it was a hefty sum. Most couldn't justify it.

I like Yamiya. Their prices are not bad. Shipping is another thing. I like how Yamiya asks what other parts you need or would like them to carry or reproduce.

I do like the Yamiya K0 top triple tree I got. They say it doesn't need D washers, but I found a set to try anyway. It's original in appearance so it must be made from better material.

Edit, it was also cheaper than used, about to break, ebay ones. Even with shipping.

I should have bought a stock of 500/550 primary cush drive rubbers, they have increased about 400%!
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
