Thanks, Dennis! A bit of a pain taking them all off and reinstalling, but definitely worth it. The set of Yamiya case screws are well worth it!

Greg (the polisher) just texted me a photo of my sprocket cover. It’s the one I got from Bobco and was stained and corroded. I should have taken a “before” picture!

 He apologized because the generator was so badly corroded it ended up with some tiny “pores”!

Hey John...I've had many polished covers on various bikes [Honda & Kawasaki] but have not seen aluminum with "pores" that large. Is it possible that is an aftermarket cover?
The polishing looks great...

Steve…. It’s definitely an original. It was the last original one “Lash” or I had in “inventory”. I suspect this one lay in the dirt for a few years. It looks great from two feet away and I like it!

#2 pipe is straight and reasonably shiny, but had a few pin holes on the backside. Spent a few hours and repaired it properly today. Grind clean, small steel weld, few drops of high heat silver. No one will ever see it, but it’s “right”. Moving ahead. Found a good, used oil pressure switch too.

One afternoon = one good pipe, one to go!

Next job is to clean up the shop. I can’t find the left rear foot peg, or a muffler connector tube that was delivered on Friday!!

Bill….. it’s really well designed and fabricated. The floor is one piece 0.250” alloy checker plate and the sides are 0.125”. It’s all stitch welded together for lots of strength but lots of drainage too. All the wiring is captire, soldered and shrink wrapped connections, run inside the frame. Made locally by a family business. I’ve been trying to find a good used one for a while. Paid a fair price and very happy with it.

Got #1 and #2 pipe fully fitted up today. They’re not 100 pt. pipes, but very presentable with no rot. Just as I was cleaning up for the day (sort of), noticed a few drops of oil under the tank. I put two litres of oil in a few days ago and despite really cleaning the fittings and installing new aluminum washers, it appears the bottom one is “drooling”. Aarrgh.

I’ll give it an extra “pull” next time!

Fixed my little oil drip today and spun the motor. Took 1/2 a minute to fill the oil filter (removed it to install the engine) and  then pumped +70 psi on the starter! Lots of oil in the top end. The oil pressure sending unit didn’t, so will try another one. Need to sort out a shifter and kick start lever and then build a set of fresh carbs. Good day.

Totally misplaced the LR foot peg. Anyone have an extra?

Stu…. I don’t think his cb750K4 has the running lights on the front, nor does my K6. I think they’re only on my K7 and K8?

Wiring diagram for the K3-K7 shows 3 wires. Blue, blue/white, green for right and orange, orange/white, green. for left.

So if your harness has the solid light blue and solid orange feeds in the headlight, you have front running lights, and will need the same wires in your front turnsignals. Blue is the right running light, blue/white(small band usually) is the turn signal and green for ground.

For some reason I have TWO right side cb750K6 passenger foot pegs. Does anyone have a LEFT rear extra?? The bracket would be angled to the left when laid out the same way as in this photo. It has a full washer and “C” washer spot welded to the back of the mounting hole……

I don't know yet if I have an extra yet as I have the 76 projects and only have eyes on 1 set.
BTW 75 and 76 use the curved mount, where as 74 and earlier are straight brackets
