Clean looking F with a few aftermarket pieces.

What's your plan?
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Howdy from Dripping Springs. :)
That's a pretty nice looking F you're starting with.

Hi all. Thanks for the welcome. Original bike looked a lot better than it actually was. Its been a lot of fun tearing it apart and rebuilding. Just put engine back in last weekend and now installing new Dynatek ignition system. Aiming to have a cafe racer that looks simpler but introduces some modern elements. Removing all turn signals, removing tach, clearing everything under seat mostly and moving electrical under seat and behind. Installing tuffside café racer seat. Replaced rear suspension with Ikons, adding Cognito oil tank and rear sets, replacing existing exhaust with Yoshi style. One of the gray areas is battery which is one reason I joined this community to learn and get ideas. I want to go as small as possible still using electric start. Have seen differing opinions. Love any thoughts. Have a new aluminum box that hangs under seat but would love to hide.

Nice shop layout you have and project.
Go to the Project Shop section and start a thread on your bike there. Before pictures and explanation of what was wrong with the bike and what all you have done along the way. Ask questions there to keep all information together so others can follow along in the process and progress and interact in helping get answers needed.
