Will a CB500 BUMPER, REAR fit a CB550F2?
« on: November 14, 2023, 08:30:42 AM »
I forward a question asked in the German forum: Will a CB500 BUMPER, REAR (PN: 84101-323-671) also fit a CB550F2?

That's the one I bought myself a couple of years ago, be it the Italian made replica CMSNL offers, which is actually better quality than the OEM one. I know it fits the CB550Ks, but will it fit a CB550F2?

It will fit but may be hard up against the rear of the seat and wont follow the contour of the angled up back of the 550F seat like the original one does.
The larger style turn signals cannot be fitted to the slightly smaller holes that the earlier turn signals use (that is if you want to keep the original rubber mounting system).

The description tells you the models it will fit. if it isn’t listed, it doesn’t fit. Can it be made to fit? Possibly. But it’s not a bolt and go solution.

Cmsnl will only tell you what it fits if you log in

Bert informed me he will drive by at the club. The German SOHC Four club makes their own repros. :)
