Anyone have any ball bearings for a steering stem

Neil….. what bike? For my 1969 cb750 the parts book shows “#8 balls, Qty. 37”. Yours is probably the same. Translation: 8/32” balls (0.250” diameter) X 37. I visited my local Canadian Bearing store and they sold me a package of 100 for Cdn.$10.67. I still have about 60 somewhere. If you can’t find some locally let me know.

A good bicycle repair shop should have 1/4 in. in stock

You'll probably find them at a good hardware store, but give a call over to Bearing Specialties in Canton, Mass if you come up empty, they're a great shop.
