It has high dose of phosporous and zinc.

Forum member ofreen has feeded his CB750F with it during many years.
I think soon closer to 200.000  than 150.000 miles.

My K2 has got it too. Gearbox felt really good.
Oil felt durable after 5000 km, still not that thinned.

EDIT:
I bought a bottle of ZZDP additive for cars. Saw too late it had anti friction stuff in it.  Drained the oil direct.
Old car engines like both. CB750 clutch not.

I had used Spectro 'mineral' for many years(in the white bottle)in other folks bikes and my own and really like how it performed;I still have 2 qts. of their 5 & 10wt. standard fork oil which I mix from.
I don't see Spectro available as much when I look for it in discount locations.  How much do they charge for it per quart ?
Do they still make it in Brookfield,Connecticut,USA,or another country ?
Does their standard mineral motor oil give consistent shifting and clutch action over it's usable lifespan Per? if so,I imagine(knowing their good business)they may have improved it;I always enjoyed the performance of it,in the past.

Recently learned that there is a balance between ZDDP and the detergent package. They are like a teeter totter working against each other. And if an additive reduces friction oddly wear goes UP, and the reverse is also true. Sticking to as product though and not mixing in other stuff is probably a good start. Lab work on the oil also showed a carryover of the additive package from the prior oil being used for at least the first oil change. This again supports picking an oil and sticking with it, not jump skipping all over the place with brands and types :-).

I use Red Line and Spectro as ZZDP additives with other oils such as Eurol Twinlube synthetic or Eurol Mineral.

I ordered a batch of Red Line 20W-60 a warm summer for a reduced price to my hot running engine. Next change 1/3 mix with 20W-50. First Red Line, later Eurol.

1 bottle of 20W-60 in each oil change of Eurol Synth. Too much 20-60 caused slipping starter, clutch was fine.

The minerals to my almost stock K2.

Semi Synth is a mix ;D
Interchangeable with other oils written on all oil bottles.

I've been riding the bike, putting on some mileage, but it's time to turn my attention back to some of the refinishing required.
For a 1976 US model, what is the actual color scheme of the HONDA emblem on the gas tank? Gloss Black with white lettering?

Would anyone have a better photo of #3, which is what I understand the correct color scheme to be?
Current Project: CB750-K6 (hoping for OEM look)
Future Project: CB750-K8  (likely go wild on this build)

K2 has less "background". Complete sets not available. 2 of one side only. Must bend one for other side as I did on my brown K2

K1 has golden "edges" of letters not shown on that incomplete picture.

Thanks PeWe. It looks like you refinished those at some point? I was curious if the "alligator bumps" were supposed to be entirely filled with paint so as to look smooth? What about the tip top of the letters themselves; shiny or black enamel?
