Topic: K1 is out of hibernation again

  I finally have time to get back to work on my 750, it was a very rough barn find and still has a long way to go. This time I have two SS 750's to harvest parts from. Motor spins and has good compression, the carbs have been cleaned and are ready to mount.I will probably use the stock tank instead of the F2's tank.The bike will made into a cafe/brat bike. Tinman

Eeeck! You really aren't going to hack on a 71 are you Tinman? The K1 will be worth more stock than hacked up.
Don't you have a Supersport frame to hack into a brat?

Go to the Project Shop section and start a thread on your build there to keep it all together with updates as you go on it.

I hear what you are saying ,I've had this bike for well over 10 years and have gone back and forth on what to do, go stock or custom, to get it back to stock is probably way over my budget.I'll know soon the status of the engine/trans, should be fun.   Tinman

A good K1 just went for $10K on BAT. That’s a lot of budget. Think on it.

Your point is well taken and I do have the two Super sports to choose from.

The Super Sport seems a less-desired bike in the classic's market. It wasn't the historic marque that the K1 was, by far.
