Busso 750 Replacement Headers- Thoughts?
« on: December 18, 2023, 09:17:43 AM »
Does anyone have any experience with the replacement headers Busso offers for the early CB750 line?  I've got a decent set of HM300s on my bike right now, but the headers are pretty crusty, and I don't make "Full Replacement Set" money.  I was curious if anyone had ever gone the route of just replacing the headers.

Pros?  Cons?  Fitment horror stories?  Best way to attach them to the mufflers?  Any thoughts are appreciated.

I think they are intended to work with their replacement mufflers that clamp onto the head pipes. I have been sitting on a few original head pipes myself in case muffler replacements became unavailable.
The only way I can see to attach them to stock mufflers would be to weld with stainless filler wire. normally the pipes outlast the mufflers.
