Do they sell the POR15 engine enamel in a rattle can also ?
Julie, I found the Simoniz lifted if fuel leaked onto it. When I repainted, I used Simoniz, then a light coat of clear engine lacquer. I'm only 1,000 miles in, but it seems to be working.
For all the Duplicolor users, or experts my base coat stuck nicely to the aluminum but my colour chips super easy, I followed the can, and Duplicolors instructions to the best of my abilities. I even used a heat lamp to cure… I can’t be the only one to find Duplicolor brittle. Also find it waaay less resistant to gas or brake clean. I powder coated most of the side covers but the cases I painted.
