What spring? It's HOT out there today!
Cherry blossoms in bloom, trees are budding.  Every year, birds nest in an open oil case in my garage (barn doors that don't seal) and I can't get oil 'till mid-summer.  This year I fooled them and put an empty case up high.  They're in birdie heaven.
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

They're in birdie heaven.

Aww, poor things.  What was it?  oil contamination?  I hope the wildlife associations don't hear of your unnatural habitat aberrations.  They'll raze your garage, make the land into a wildlife sanctuary, and sue you homeless.  It's the humane thing, you know.  Maybe they'll let you keep a tin cup?  But, don't try selling any pencils out of it unless you've paid to have the necessary permits.
Just some friendly advise. ;D

I think you misunderstood.  He's not letting 'the little birdies' nest in an OPEN bucket of oil.  He's saying that they simply make a nest each year in a BOX (case) of un-opened oil and he has such a kind heart that he doesn't want to DISTURB them until the 'lil babies hatch in mid-summer  :)

Got her out Friday...fired right up, and for the first time since she's been mine, EVERYTHING on her works (Except for the neutral light, and I don't care about that!)...Saturday night, I came out of a friends house and it was in the 40's...she started right up! Even the headlight was aimed! Today, it's about 75º here in West Michigan! Of course next Saturday, it's supposed to be 31º!
