Greg, it has been a long time since I have spent a night in a tent.
It’s nice to know there are places where a traveler can camp without a reservation a permit a fee.

Ride #51, 75 miles.

Another Post Office run.  Took the long way home.  I rode the Willow City Loop today.  It's been a few months.

Rolled past 20K on the Scout.  Just need another 80K+ to catch up with Kevin.

Greg wins "Best Ride Photos".

Went on ride #16 on the faithful 750 yesterday for lunch in Bruneau by way of Melba, down ID78 through Murphy and Grandview.  Summer ends tomorrow with the arrival of a strong cold front, so this may be the last warm ride of the year.

State highway 78 south of Murphy, the Owyhee Mountains in the background -

I've posted photos of this Catholic church in Oreana before.  Cool old building.  They still hold mass in there once a month -

Ate lunch at the One Stop in Bruneau.  Good cheeseburgers.  Sorry I forgot to get a shot of the burger and fries, not thinking of it until after I stuffed them down my neck -

Inflatable dragon at a corn maze they set up every fall -

I don't think that would allow me time to change the oil, tires, etc.  I wonder what the record is for the most consecutive daily 500-mile motorcycle rides.

Whatever you attempted consecutive 500 milers on had better be very comfortable and you need to be in pretty good shape with the muscles used when riding and moving around a bike.
It is 2814 miles from NYC to LA, Labrador to Vancouver is 2800 miles as the crow flies..., Toronto to Key West is 1650 miles, 1699 miles from Maine to Houston,  Maine to Tijuana is 3170 miles, Seattle to Labrador 5071 km, Houston, TX to Fairbanks, Alaska 4123 miles, Tijuana to Seattle is 1277 miles, 5010 miles from Fairbanks to Key West...
3657 miles from El Paso, TX to Mary's Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
So, where are your 500 miles a day gonna take you?

#38 documented ride 125km

Time to document a ride here.
My blue K6 again. Now about 8000km  this year.

The colors are really fine so too early to complain about the  cold climate.
Warm 8-9*C  after work ride.

I'll see how dark it will be next week at same spot as the sunset beside church, last pic.

This is bonus ride compared with last year that ended October 7.

Rode to Hanover hospital today for a follow up on my ct scan last week. Result is a Dec surgery to remove a lump on my rib cage before it becomes cancerous.
No ride pics but #112 at 167 km.

Get it done and look ahead! Rode all morning on the K1 (#29). Gary had his TransAlp out and had to buy lunch, “forgot my wallet”. What a spectacular day! Warm and the Fall colours have fully arrived. Determined to get my wife out for her annual ride this weekend…..

There is much to see in your photo,  the CB, sunset, shadow, church, trees, clouds, a car approaching (with headlights on?)all nice.
When I saved the photo from your initial post it was at 1mb
When I reposted it, it was reduced to 76kb.
I get my shadow in many times but usually it’s my thumb in front of the lens. That never happened when I used a regular camera.

That's why you need to take several photos. Check direct when taken. Thumb on lens, redo.
I can get thumb photos too ;D

I bought a new phone in late January when Oneplus 12 was released. Ordered one hour after the EU release.
I needed a better camera for my rides and mechanical jobs.
