Hey Bud, how are you feeling lately? Still feeling like you got rolled and mugged by that deer?
Hopefully not.
You ever make it to Cooper's Old Time BBQ up in Llano?
I hear it is good.
Much better. Thanks for asking. My neck and collar bone still ache a little, but not nearly as bad. Been using sports tape on the collar bone and it helps. The bruises are fading. I've cut way back on the over-the-counter pain meds.
Got an offer from the insurance co., but they missed a few things. Trying to get them straightened out.
Been thinking about a new motorcycle a lot. Probably too much. I probably should give myself some time.
I haven't been to Cooper's in Llano in a while. Last couple of times the meat was way too salty. Not enjoyable. My son was here last week for TG and we went to the original Cooper's in Mason, but all they had left was brisket. I like to get at least two meats, so we drove to Inman's BBQ in Llano instead. I prefer Inman's over Cooper's. One of the things I don't like about Cooper's is they sell the meat by the pound, and they always cut off more than you ask for and make you pay for it. Some people like the experience of watching the pit master cut the meat for them, but I don't care. Just give me some meat. I'm not looking for an overpriced salty show.
There are a couple of good BBQ places in Fredericksburg that I've had. I don't eat out much. Most of the BBQ I eat I smoke myself.
