Daytime running light wiring to mo.unit
« on: December 28, 2023, 02:40:04 PM »
Hi. Have a 76 CB750F. Installing an mo.unit blue and making the wire runs and ran into first (of many) questions. Purchased a speedmoto LED headlight with integrated turn signals. Link for reference. https://speedmotoco.com/7-inch-motorcycle-lens-only-led-motorcycle-headlight-integrated-turn-signal/. Refer to 3rd thumbnail for wiring diagram which has H4 connector plug containing Black, Blue and Red wires in plug as well as additional blue wire (left signal), yellow (right) and white (daytime running). I'll be running (2) 3-button m switches swapping out old controls.

Wondering how to tie in the daytime running wiring to switches/m unit as i can't seem to solve. Any references or recos on how any of you wired daytime running into your setups? Thanks all in advance.

I have an old school bike with old school wiring but run a euro headlight with an always on LED in the park socket. I just wired it to work with key on.

Wire the DRL to your AUX2 plug. That will provide a constant 12v power source whenever the mUnit is energized.
