hello from sweden
« on: January 15, 2024, 03:01:55 AM »

Hi
I bought an old Honda Nighthawk 650 1983, this is my first motorcykle. If you look at the picture the text on the Honda is "CBX600E" and this model was only sold in Sweden (and mayby in Norway) in the year 1983, but it is a Honda Nighawk 650 but the swedish enviroment something forced Honda to make it a 600.

This example is in good condition (i hope) , I m the third owner, and is has run 1300 mil (metric system) (i think that is like 8699 american miles). About 15 minutes after I bought the bike i manage to destroy the right mirror, so no I am looking to replace that one. The bike has been standing for 5 years in a warm garage, so I have to change brakefluid, motoroil etc. I hope that I dont have to clean the carbulators.

There are some minor things to fix on the bike, like new "case cromet". But ofcourse, I have to see if the bike runs, I will to april or may before i start the bike up, now it is really cold here.

nice to be here!

Welcome aboard again, from New Hampshire @ 60 miles from Boston.
The American 650 was a good bike from what I hear. Have fun with it.
