Cheap Spring Compressor

Ever need to compress your rear springs but couldn’t do it because you didn’t have the right tools?  Here’s something most of us have laying around from restoring gauges, or we can pick up at the local hardware store.  A 4” hose clamp does the job just fine.  I completely disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled shock one shock in less than 15 mins.

Hope this helps you
Wes

Brilliantly simple. I'm off to the hardware store!

good idea.  if you've just painted the springs, and don't want to scratch them when reassembling the shock, you might slide the hose clamp inside a piece of old bicycle inner tube.
