wire connectors
« on: June 17, 2005, 01:07:49 AM »
Its unbelievable but true.
After 30 -35 yrs the wiring inside my headlight shell (yeah and every where else) is very very tired.
the standard auto type connectors that crimp on are, well, crap.
Question is, can I get honda style bullet conns and if so where?

mail order is not a problem and i can nearly solder.

I know its only rock and roll,

I can get them here in UK and ship them if you cant get them there. Not a 100% match but 99% ( very slightly bigger in diameter) and as long as you have DECENT crimping pliers, NOT the el cheapo crappy type for the coloured insulated ones, you wont need to solder. The firm i use does the male bullets; single, twin and 3 or 4 way (not sure which)  females complete with insulating sleeves
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
