Ron's posts and threads with a very personal touch will continue to live on this forum.

RIP Ron. You can hopefully ride where you are now.

I have been wondering for awhile how Ron was doing, and to turn on the computer to this news this morning is very sad.  RIP.

Sorry to hear of Ron’s passing and especially his having to deal with Parkinson’s. My dad suffered with it. It is a cruel disease.

Rest in peace Ron you will be missed by the all. Like everyone else here I followed your long build across the years and had the pleasure of exchanging messages with you and buying parts. Your dedication was inspiring. Thank you Joe for keeping the story alive and looking forward to ride stories in the future about Phaedrus.

Ron's craftsmanship and love of old Honda's was an inspiration to me and many other's here on this forum.  He will be missed.  RIP

RIP Ron, great guy and passionate about his bikes. We did some horse trading a few years ago and chatted regularly. Condolences to his family.

The other thing was his fully documented thread on Phaedrus.
I was also glad for him when he gained ownership of his white CB77 Superhawk which the PO had been storing in Ron's garage;Ron decided to give it his full 'treatment'.  :)
I remember when he first got that nice motorcycle trailer by which he could load and unload(Phaedrus)a motorcycle by himself.
 He kept himself as active as he could,considering his health issues.

Danny,what do you remember about Ron which inspired you ?
I never met him,which I regret.

Geez, Joe, that is some really sad news. I haven’t been on the forum for some time and haven’t ridden my Honda in a number of years though I still own it. I was along with you guys on that southern Indiana ride as well as I’m sure you’ll remember the ride to Cincinnati on the inaugural Godzilla ride. Great times! I moved back to northern Illinois in 2012 but left my heart in Indiana. I miss it greatly. And one of my fondest memories was that southern Indiana ride with Ron, Chris, Mark (also passed), yourself, and a couple of others. As a matter of fact, I had just come across the pictures from that ride  earlier this morning and that’s how I ended up here. I just took my first ride since 2017 earlier in June. In 2018 I received a liver transplant that sidelined me for many years. I’m riding a Harley Freewheeler these days. How’s your wife, Rose? (IIRC?) Glad to know Phaedrus ended up in the hands of somebody that will show it the love and respect that Ron had for it. I had no idea you guys had become so close. RIP Ron, he was such a big and respected part of this community.

RIP Ron, I followed the Pheadrus threat with interest, and later the white CB77 thread as well. I was just checking in to see how the resto of the CB77 went, and then I read this sad news.....
