550Four emblem question

I was told on some fuel tanks, the emblem is held on by screws. I don't know if that's true, but I did order the correct locking tabs from my fuel tank emblem. Having said that, the 550Four emblems on the side covers have the same plastic stud-type fasteners, and on the back side, there were what looked like star lock-washers that just pressed on. When you look up the part number for those in the IPC, searching that part number shows what appears to be a flat tinnerman (used for screws), not a star washer type thingie. Is that correct? I'm posting pics to show what came off, and what the IPC part number search brought up. Help please!!!

I found some starlock fasteners somewhere, maybe (probably) Home Depot.
It was ten years ago.
Amazon sells kits of different sizes.

Parts books do not necessarily show exactly what it is, the description should

So two different shape push nuts have been used to hold on the side cover badges over the years. I don't know about the 550 but I think the (Australian) 500 maybe used round ones? I found similar ones cheap that work, but the oem ones when you can find them are stupidly expensive!
The tank badge ones I had to pay way too much for genuine oem Honda ones.

The 550 fuel tank emblems have pins also but have different holder "nuts" than the side covers use. These you put in the holes on the tank 1st, then push the emblem pins in.

87311-634-600 is the tank nut, still available from Honda. #73 on the fiche.

New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

500,550,750 all have some modeles with the tanknpin clips and the 500 generator emblem same type but i think different size

You could use those locking tabs for the fuel tank emblems but I would also use the 3m double back tape. I didn't use those locking tabs just the double back tape. Make sure the emblem fits nicely to the tank before you adhere them.You can pick up the locking washers for the side covers at any ACE hardware with good inventory. Take you side badges to test fit, if you find ones that are a bit loos give them a gentle tap to close them a bit. If they seem to tight use a dremmel bit to open them up a hair. I also stamp out rubber washers and use them under the push lock washers to cushion them a bit. I push them on with a small socket

The 550 fiche above shows a rectangular speed nut (3mm) why? I have no idea because the 750 fiche shows the round 3mm are still available.

The bike round speed nuts are a different number for the 750, #17 also (3mm)
