You would need a spare auto advance in that case.

It dose work without grinding them down,...problem is, the nut holding the rotor on, dosn't go all the way on.

Ok so how does the unit handle the heat? since it is under the tank and there is quite a bit of heat there.  ALso, I dont know much about it, do you have some info on this thing? It sounds good and even though I would have to get another whatchamacallit, thats ok if this unit is reliable.  Did you change coils too?

God, I love when I get to bug people !!! ;D

We don't have a stock tank Eldy and useing it for drag racing it dosn't get hot for long.

Would you not be better off getting a Dyna ignition instead of importing one from the rip off UK ;D ;D ;D...from what I hear, they are just as good, if not better.

Sam,

That is music to the ears... good luck with the new motor.

Art, if you think that sounded good,....wait untill you hear it on all four cylinders, (was only on three) ::) ::) ::) ::)

I thought something was quite right but I held my tongue. It should be much more crisp (and even louder) when you sort it out Sam.

well I have to buy a new battery. So I dont really have enough to get a dyna2000. The S is fine but I was just wondering about dumping the mechanical advance. So the ripoff model was my next choice! ;D

I don't know what it cost Eldy, Chris payed for it himself.

Compairing the cost of Dyna equipment over here, it's cheaper for me to buy from the States and pay the shipping.

Was it just a bad plug that prevented #3 from firing?  Those electrical gremlins are a real PITA.  When I first got my bike, I had a Dyna S go bad on me, the 1 and 4 module got fried and I had a inline twin for a while.  A Dyna 2000 will go in with the new engine because with the mods mike will be making I don't want to miss a shift and blow it all to hell.  I am waiting to hear the bike on all 4 Sam.  Hurry.

Hi Art, the plug fouling problem has been with us since day one.
It's not a problem with the bike, it's Chris.
He has got what you might call, A BIG FIST :D :D :D.....He can't keep the throttle closed when he tries to start it.
His first reaction is to give it a big hand full,..... I havn't seen a Honda yet, that likes that sort of treatment.
Perhaps if I make him change the plugs he fouls, he might stop doing it. ;D ;D ;D

Hope your muscle is mending OK.
