Resurrecting an S90 , have not been able to find the year.. motor serial number S90E 443968. I need a new points assembly and Partzilla offers two. A Denso and Toyo. Not sure which one I should order. Thanks in advance for any advice, new member from Vancouver island.

I have no knowledge of this bike but I like Denso's products in general.

That bike's points are nearly indestructable: what happened to them?
I know of a CT90 near here with 30k original miles on it: a few years ago its owner dropped it off and wanted me to install a Transistor Ignition into it, which I did. The points, he said, were original from when he bought the bike! The bike is used in commuting service, in-town style.

As long as the points are smooth and parallel and the insulators are there they should be fine.
