I had some gauges restored by Marcel in the Netherlands some time ago, and recall reading that he no longer does this service, his website seems to confirm this. [he still sells parts]

I'm surprised that there isnt someone doing it here in the States.
When I restored my Kawasaki, there is a guy in Florida that did a great job on them [he wont work on Honda gauges]

Steve….. Thanks for this, I’ve asked for a quote for my K1. There is a guy in the USA that does an excellent job. I think it’s “Randy’s Cycle Service”? I’ve never used him but I’ve seen some instruments done by him and they were lovely!

I’m sure someone on here will provide better info.

I’m thinking if you’re in North America, Randy is a slightly better option? My K1 Instruments are working well , so they will just stay where they are! Anyone with actual experience?

If Steve doesn't find his gauges I have a set of K1 gauges and new faces from Marcel to put in them that I will get to in the next month after I get back from this trip to San Diego. I still need to test them too...

Marcel did the ones for my Sandcast. They look great. I think they all do pretty much the same. Years ago (when he was still alive) “Pistol Pete” did a set for my ‘75 GL1000. Nicest set I ever saw. His work was flawless.

"Speedometer service-full     $60"   seems like a small price to service the actual instrument? ?

I have a set of K1's at CBMTRS right now, should be close to being done.  When I sent mine , CBMTRS was the only one I found using the green tint faces.
I will post pics when I get them back.

Does Hollywood Speedometer in California still do MC gauges? They do repairs and calibrations.

Palo Alto Speedometer also did repairs and restoration, if still around…

Used Hollywood Speedo in 90s for a car and they did good work for a reasonable price replacing a gear and resetting odo to zero…

So I have been doing a couple Gauges on my own
Build all the tool's to re roll the crimp ring and a support to open the ring with minimal distortion
The gauges I have done are looking good .The CB750K7 Gauges are just a patina restoration (did not paint the gauges
That was the first set I did for my self
 
I'm thinking when I get some more experiences and Know how on the gauges
I most likely is going to offer the service
There is one thing to remember the gauges are OLD and the dampener for the needle is most likely dried up and need to be refilled (that's the trick)I need to master
 
I have a couple Gauges for the CB750F3 that I'm going to do in the next couple weeks
Waiting on parts (faces and seals )

How is the metal covers .In good shape

when I get a bit more experience
