The removable ends are handy as they allow the orientation of the ends to be adjusted. Important as the over braid on the hose prevents it from twisting.

As an FYI, APEX will cover their hoses with any colour vinyl. I always get black. The OD is still smaller than stock rubber hoses, but it’s less obvious and prevents the hose from sawing through other stuff!

I wanted removable ends.

Dont understand why, Bill?

I could change the length of the hose for different bars, etc. when needed and keep the ends the same.

I highly recommend Venhill USA. I have used their lines on two of my bikes plus my buddy's F3. He offers multiple lengths and colors and uses screw on ends in a variety of bends. They come from Texas and I have always got them in a few days.

Oh,you have personal experience calling Venhill in Tx. and a good outcome;are they the ones who produce or distribute the lines ?
Can he custom make the length of the hose and then crimp the attachment end with which the different banjo fittings get threaded on to ?

Based on my communication with him, he carries a stock of pre-made lines in various lengths and colors, so they are not true custom. However, he carries a wide range so getting the size that works has not been a problem. When you order you specify the length and what ends you want. The ends include new banjo bolts and washers. The screw on ends come in various bends. Looking at his website he has expanded his product range compared to when I first got lines from him almost 7 years ago now.

I use these guys, Bill:

I've been able to fit up any Japanese bike with their pieces.
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.
