That looks great and especially the road clearance with the 4into2into1 header.
I have a new Hindle that I got from Mike, to eventually go on my 78 F3 project, still collecting parts mode at this point. I'd sure like to have a JMR head and the billet cylinders to put on the motor! Dreaming.......

New CB750 K5 Planet Blue, demise by ex cousin in law at 9,000 miles...
New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

Cheers! Tons of clearance. I’m running a 17” front 18” rear wheel. My bike sits a bit lower that a stock f2/3 I’m so happy with the engine build, it’s a major change to my old engine!

I know the porting helps gobs.
My K6 got a ported head in 1977 with the 811 bore, 3 angle valve cuts, Action Fours cam and springs.

I have an 836 motor I bought from a friend that I need to open up and inspect that has the head ported, with a SS2 cam, springs and titanium keeprs.

As usual it’s been a busy summer, I’ve had several full day rides on the 750 now and feel like I have it pretty dialled in.

I am really happy with how the engine feels! It pulls nicely and the Hindle sounds awesome! Really enjoying having my “Old girl” back on the road!

Really disappointed with Duplicolor engine paint adhesion. Aside from that I’m very happy with how this rebuild has gone and is functioning.

I keep grabbing the keys for the Honda instead of my KTM Duke 890r which says something!

My rebuild helped inspire my good friend to dust off his Yamaha Fazer 750 and get it running again and we’re doing a short road trip this weekend with a Royal Enfield 650 and a Honda 919, will be a fun group of bikes and guys to ride with, will post up some photos after the trip!
What went wrong Grant? I've used the silver for many engine cases and it has held up great over 25 years or so.

Mike now that you mentioned it. My problem is with the black, it didn’t bond with the primer and chips off very easily. The silver on the barrels is holding up nicely.

Same  prep followed the cans instructions. Used infrared lamp to heat the pieces.

I had the same problem with duplicolor black engine enamel...used an etching primer.  Don't know if that was for better or worse...but at any rate, mine held up good for a couple of high mileage years and then just all of a sudden  started bubbling up and flaking off in big chunks...
If it works good, it looks good...

I just bead blast the surfaces and apply the paint....no primer. Never saw a need for the primer....always careful about surface prep. I don't think Honda primed any of those surfaces. ;)
