Canadian Motorcycle Race Shop

The shock absorbers in the LEXUS race car are triple adjustable competition units built by JRZ. They have massive 22mm shafts and remote reservoirs. In addition to the shock oil, they are charged at +150 psi nitrogen too. Two of them have leaks and lose their charge in one race day!

Discovered a wonderful shop, just 1 hour away, run by a fellow who has been building shocks and suspension for factory race bikes (mostly), off road vehicles, snow machines and race cars! Visited his fantastic shop today. Immaculate spot, about 1500 sq.ft. filled with high tech tools and equipment! The “shock dyno” was fascinating. Place was filled with new vehicles that the manufacturers have sent for evaluation and custom upgrade race parts. John was totally engaging and is able to help us. He also provides trackside support on many motorcycle race weekends, For some interesting reading, 99% motorcycle related, check out his website.

Its always nice to bump into someone who knows what they are talking about, especially suspension and handling. Not a lot of them around.
GRASSHOPPER SOHC HONDAS ARE THE MEANING OF LIFE.

Cool!

Thanks for sharing. Last season the Aston Martin pace cars for F1 were fitted with exhaust systems from a Canadian manufacturer:

Always neat to see companies creating unique solutions and go fast parts.

I was in the shop today and dug out a lovely ancient set of alloy Koni shocks for the back of a SOHC cb750. Going to pull the springs off and see how well they are working. May ask John to freshen them up.
