My project GSX 1100 S -83
« on: May 06, 2018, 08:01:26 AM »
This bike came to me from the same friend who sold me the -87 GSX-R project. This used to be his daily rider / bracket bike. For some reason it was disassembled a few years ago, I assume it happened simply because he ran out of space with all the bikes and it was easier to store a bike in pieces.
Only missing the engine and gauges, right now she is just hanging out  ::)

Paint on the frame is original, very unusual color around here  ::)

Back in 2006, Motopark Raceway

Got the original gauges and clip on bars.
Gonna get some period correct Brembo calipers and decent suspension parts too.

I bought these BMW K100 Brembos from... somewhere, maybe Poland. Seller tried to blackmail me for more money but we found an understanding. Period correct update to stock brakes me thinks  ;D
