Cut off exhaust pipes.

 Q#1,  Is there any reason to keep a tote full of 14 stock 750 head pipes with the rotted mufflers cut off? Various amounts of chrome left. I thought someday I'd order a set of those Busso bolt on mufflers but that isn't ever going to happen now.
 Q#2, Is there a reason to keep 4?

 I was going to try a set of VW beetle exhaust tips on them. These days I have multiple nice exhaust choices in spite of Busso giving me the 6 month runaround.

Don, if you had 4 nice chrome ones, I could use them.  I have a pair of nos Sito 4 into 2 slipon silencers planned for a cafe project.  I have some pipes with rotted mufflers but the chrome is just about as rotten as the mufflers.

Well, there's hoarding for the sake of hoarding if you've got room. But also potential future suppliers that aren't named Busso. Bob's in Phoenix had a ton of period 4-2 slip ons on the top of two different racks, about 20 feet off the ground. A couple years ago I climbed up there and poked around. Wonder where they wound up...

And I used those VW tips on a 350F once, worked fine. JC Whitney IIRC.

 The tracking numbers have all ground to a halt. No one will tell me anything. UPS said to file a claim but the numbers get kicked out upon entering. I fear I'm out about $2K for the two sets, transfer fees and extra shipping money (ransom) they requested.

  I'll go through them and see if I can pick out a set that will clean-up. I remember labeling a set of 300's for which cylinder they are for.

 Busso, I heard they used a cheap shipping broker who under weighed them and undervalued the insurance. Reportedly a set made it to New Zealand and were returned to Italy. One of my sets was tagged as out for delivery at one time and now are MIA, the other set was returned to the factory from a shipping warehouse in Italy and was signed for. All this after I sent another 150 euros to get the shipping issue fixed. Shame on me.

cool...sounds like the 341's are the ones I would want as I don't really know how long they need to trimed for the Sito's

 I replied with pics but it won't post. Here we go, these are 300's that had slip ons and still have parts of them.

341's I think a lot of the black is grease. They will clean up a lot.

Of course. Delivery should have been in October. Excuses include august vacation month, holidays, the chrome guy ruining the heat shields, the painter screwing up the heat shields, holidays, someone on strike, Christmas, New Years, ships being shot at in other parts of the world, needing more money for shipping, shipping brokers, UPS, etc.  I voted to take delivery without the heat shields but got outvoted. A bird in the hand sounded ok to me.
