No, but I have been somewhat checking the ads for one reasonable.  They seem to bring more money than the CL's and CA's.  It would be nice to own all three in the 305 series, although I really can't justify why.  Probably senility.......

Ok I know it is awkward to reach around and pat one's self on the back but thanks to the good Lord, (trust me it is not healthy living) I can still install a 305 motor alone at almost 75 years of age.....Yea I know, I would have something to brag about if it was a 750......

Are your rimsalloy? They look really good. You do such nice work, makes me want to get going on my CL 72.

The chrome on the rims I would rate at about a 7 or 8, but they are the best I could find.  I relaced the rear one on the bike from to get a good smooth brake drum. It was the first time I had ever rebuilt a wheel from scratch, thank the Lord for YouTube.  Certain parts for whole 305 series are getting really hard to locate and bringing ridiculous prices on E bay.   There is a complete rear wheel on there now with good chrome but with a badly grooved drum and they are asking over 600 bucks not including shipping.   The rear brake shoes for the Dream had to be sent away to be relined, replacements simply do not exist anymore......

I think I mentioned to get hold of Steve at Honda Restorations as he gas a bunch of NOS and used 305 parts still.

You spend a few days in the garage and step back and say what did I accomplish???? Well, new clutch discs, great pull and it will kick over now in neutral, of course final test and adjustment after the first trip around the block, hopefully.  Set valve lash and of course discovered the the cam chain adjuster rod was frozen.  Had to pull it off, a little heat, ton of PB Blaster, and it freed up.  Checked my surplus gasket cache, only missing one, adjuster gasket.  I was able to get the old one off and piece it back together for a decent template for a homemade one.  Carbs have been pulled down and cleaned, other than new bowl gaskets they are going back up with the original parts, better quality than most kits out there.  I did break down and buy a good quality DID chain and did away with the el-cheapo one I had installed from Amazon.  I felt so guiltily I ordered one for the Dream also, I checked the non name brand I had installed on it and was amazed at the amount it had stretched.  Going to start bolting parts back on and started with the chain guard, wiring after that to install the Charlies Place EI.   Still a long way to go, but now that I think about it, I guess I did get a little done.........

Wiring, my favorite. no really it is what I look forward to on everyone I do.  Relaxing and enjoyable, but most of all, like a Caveman given a Bic lighter, amazed when everything lights up.......

Took it around the block yesterday with a temporary fuel bottle.  No carb leaks, EI system worked perfectly, kicked over on third kick and idled even without air filters, new clutch pulled and shifted great, and just overall very pleased.  Going to start bolting all the pretty stuff on and will be done........

I'm late to the party...........Very Nice :)

I see you started with a relatively good bike. I still play around with the CL72 & 77 models. If your handlebar cables seem a bit tight, it is likely the non-OEM bars are a bit taller or wider.

I'm 77 and beginning to think I should unload some or all of my spares. But first I have a '66 CL77 in red and silver that needs to get finished.

A giro from a few years ago, the trifecta of 305s, my CL, my sons Dream and a buddies Superhawk, we used these bikes in it more than a few times. Lots of fun, sometimes riding flat out. Only problem with the CL was the small tank, ran out of gas a few times before I got smart and carried extra.
