In the UK they are now doing original type for the 500 and early 550 as a complete kit with hangers, finned clamps, balance connectors, gaskets etc.

👌  4into4 original style.  They look good.

That’s $1715CDN.

Bryan - they look good and are very well priced. My only question is whether the headers are double skinned like the originals.
Reports from those that have received them here in UK are that they are double skinned.

So they are out there?  The website states "preorder"

The. entire system is lighter than just one of the original pipes. Sounds great and installs easily.

Considering what you get with the kit i think its a very good price, i would have a set to hang for later but just ordered the living room refloor

My dearly beloved already ordered the floor mate, the carpet is 16 years old and has had 4 dogs and 5 cats in that time plus a grubby, hairy arsed vintage bike and truck driver, the vintage refers to both the bikes and me!!!

Thanks guys! Bankerdanny, which model is that? I like the swept up look. Cliff.

Denward has it right, it's the megaphone. I prefer that look to the Yoshi style that you see on a lot of cafe's. I really wish they offered a reverse megaphone or pea shooter style like an old Norton. https://delkevic.com/full-system-to-fit-cb750f-super-sport-1975-1976-with-classic-megaphone-muffler-and-stainless-steel-4-1-headers/

Cliff,

As you know, I put one on my K5.  Fit and finish is excellent except for two things.  I had to make a mounting bolt spacer to fit because of the large diameter of the foot peg bolt (unless you want to ditch the foot peg).  And I had to find a different rubber puck for the centre stand stop.

And yes, the stainless turns bronze.

Looks good, sounds great.

Cheers,
Ross

I also needed to do some spacing to get my muffler properly supported, although Delkavic supplies most of what you need.
