Have we concluded yet? Is the NGK D8EA sparkplug the former D8ES or the former D8ES-L plug?

D8EA is same as D8ES. The D8ES-L was sold as a "half" grade

They have NOS sets of 4) D8ES on Ebay now for a great price($12.99 shipped)which is item #176196940561.

 There are China made NGK fakes out there also.

I had to check CB750 shop manual.
I guess the plugs changed in 1977, year more than bike related.

From K6 spec
