Topic: Potential vintage motorcycle meetup in Golden, CO summer 2024?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to start a poll to gauge interest from the SOHC4 community. I realize this event would be held in CO (so not all here can travel), but I figured here is a great spot to gauge interest. I am a regular at a very large brewery in Golden, CO (New Terrain Brewing: https://newterrainbrewing.com/) that has ample space for a first annual meetup, plenty of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and a stage to have a band. I will be inquiring with the owner about the potential to hold a meetup.

Details I'm envisioning:
- Most likely would have to be a weekday like Thursday (until it grows to a size they'd consider for a weekend date)
- Band (Thinking bluegrass, jam band, and or classic rock styles - many local bands that would be excellent)
- Like to set up a small table/tent for eventually formalizing if successful
- Opportunities for merchants if possible

Open to any feedback on this. I used to be part of a vintage motorcycle collective in the Midwest that held these types of events and I miss them. They were always a treat to meet new people, see old friends, talk about the bikes we all love, and participate in the love of riding/maintaining classics.

We did this in 2017. The SOHC4 Family Reunion. About 25 of us met up at a camp ground in Dolores, CO. It was a fun event that I would love to do again, but you are probably too late to be planning something for this year. I planned the 2017 event and started the process a year in advance and was making campground reservation in March 2017.

I'm not into drinking so the location isn't an enticement.
And it is t oo far for this old broken back to ride my 750 there, I did ride to Colorado from here(NH) in my heyday iof the 70s, multiple times,  on my K6.
My goldwing allows me to ride cross country these days.

I settled on Colorado in 2017 (I rode from Chicago) because when I did a survey that was the area that got the best participation.

Not everyone was on an SOHC4. There was a Victory Vision and a couple other non-Hondas.
