Does anyone have the literature for setting up the Maxi dwell points on a 750?

Maxi dwell ?
Adjust the points so they never open then you have 360 degree dwell, thats maxi dwell all right.
If you set the points to .014" you can check when the points close and when they open, that is the dwell.

I'm still points, I use feeler gauges, tried a dwell meter, got a variety of results, went back to feeler gauge

Ditto….you can always carry a spare set of points on a trip and fix it on the side of the road. Try that with electronic ign.

That's why back then I have decided for the best of both worlds and to make my own transistor ignition module with the breakerpoints still switchng the control current. In the nineties I had plans to go as far as Turkye and maybe even further. Although I never went there, my ignition has proved ultra reliable.

I dunno what benefit you expect. I mean, wasn't the maxi-dwell developed for V-8s, asphixed as they were having only one contactbreaker to do it all? In our 4 cylinder bikes, with two separate ignition sets, there's ample saturation of the coils. I don't see how a maxi-dwell could offer improvement.
