It's a bloody switch, let's not get anal.
What grease would you use on the contacts?
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Sorry if I'm responding to a really old post - but it was really helpful as I'm dealing with the same situation.

I'm just wondering what anyone thought of the idea of maybe sliding a little shim up the side of the plug to make the fit tighter?

I tried that: it worked until Colorado's [really bad] roads made it come out again. If there is a way to make your 'wedge' stay in place (glue?) then it might work if you ride decent pavement.

Yeah - maybe a way of gluing it, but I woudn't want to glue with anything that goes beyond "point of no return" - meaning that the shim should be plastic or something that could be broken easily if you had to separate the connector later on.  I had originally thought to take a metal collar stay, wrapped in electrical tape.
It seems the wiggling is just left to right - so the shim would fix that.
I'm also thinking of maybe putting a "loose" zip tie on the cables coming in contact with the plug to keep them away from it.
As to decent pavement?  I think Quebec might even possibly surpass anything Colorado's dreamed up!  ;D :-[

Maybe even just wrapping the plug in electrical tape

Well, tried the tie wrap and it can still cut out.  Maybe the difference with mine is that wiggling the wires does nothing - it's the whole female plug when you move it horizontally.  @HondaMan - you talked about the EMGO contacts being 10 amp, if I remember correctly - what would be the correct amperage for the '77 750F2?  I'm thinking of just cleaning up, tighening or possibly replacing just the red wire tab in the female connector.  If the main fuse is 15A, I'm guessing the same - hmm....maybe I've answered my own question!

That's why the relay taking the load off the contacts is a good idea with the emgo switches
