David Silver's CB400f event on 28 September (UK)
« on: June 04, 2024, 11:14:26 AM »
Here are the latest details of David Silver's CB400F event at the end of September. Hopefully a rideout can be arranged too, so all the 400s head out together. The nearby town of Aldeburgh has famous fish & chips so would be perfect for a chippy run as part of it.

As we celebrate 50-years of the iconic 1970s Honda CB400F owners are invited to enter our contest with 6 Best-in-Class trophy awards to be presented on the day in the following categories:
1) The Best Most Original CB400F. 2) The Best Restored CB400F
3) The Best Customised CB400F. 4) The Furthest Travelled CB400F (ridden to the event!)
5) The Highest Mileage CB400F. 6) The Judges Favourite CB400F
Entry is via on-line Entry Form on our museum website at www.davidsilverhondacollection.co.uk
Since its introduction back in 1975 the CB400F has remained a favourite amongst many UK bikers and today demand and interest in this model continues, especially as values remain strong and parts supply is as plentiful as ever through our Honda parts store. A popular model to restore the CB400F has also been a favourite amongst female riders due to its light weight and low seat height.
London based 4-piece rock-band The Maida Vales have confirmed their performance at this event. A popular entertainment group playing rock music from the 60s through to the 80s The Maida Vales entertained the crowds at our previous open days.
Both the Honda Owners Club and the VJMC have confirmed attendance with displays by their members with their classic and contemporary Honda motorcycles.
A giant CB400F 50th Anniversary celebration cake has been commissioned for all to enjoy on the day and hot/cold food stalls will also be in attendance.
To be held at the David Silver Honda Collection museum on Saturday 28th September, this special celebration day is set to attract one of the largest gatherings of the 1970s CB400F model.
FREE Entry and Open to ALL! - This event is open to all motorcyclists regardless of motorcycle make/model owned. Parking for bikes and cars is also free.
