Well picked this pig up a couple weeks ago, slowly picking away at it. Not sure what's what with it as it looks like it was a total loss, was registered as a 1977 CB550F. Blew a tire on the trailer on the way home of course.



Mock up on the chopped rear fender, 750 grab bar, giuliari seat and early K tank



Only had one good fork ear from the parts bike and can't find either from the 750 so on the hunt. The mini signals got here and look great, just have to figure out a mounting solution for the fronts. Snapped the push throttle cable so hopefully the replacements are here this week. Got it running though, thought the rack was seized but was just that cable.

Can you identify the 4-1 pipe set?

Diggin the Giuliari seat...looks like stock 550f header to me with grafted on replacement muffler
If it works good, it looks good...

Difficult for me to say for sure as the USA got stuff fitted we in the UL didn't get and vice versa, but the lack of a front stay on the front mudguard is one difference between the F1 and the F2 in the UK. As is the lack of fork gaiters or bellows as you yanks seem to call them.

Looks like stock header with something else worked on for muffler.

Is a Canadian bike so it's weird there's no KPH on the gauge faces.



Prototyping some fork ears, fellow made a set for a CT70 so just had to scale and fillet some sections, I like it better than the bolt ons. Yes I realize I cut the bottom for the wrong side and it's on the wrong fork.

Dropped the gauges and pretty much there on the ears, print them in ASA and paint them (guess the headlight bucket too?) when I do the tank / side covers. File will be on makerworld, I think the original spacers will work but if not I’ll design some for TPU
