Neato!(I was in the show too, but my 750 wasn't behaving, so I didn't ride that. I had the Valkyrie and the OTHER yellow GL1000, and I remember this bike because I was parked right next to it!)

Steve-O, I know you love old cars, so you are certainly gonna love the Gilmore museum...it's almost like the Barber Museum but for cars (unfortunately, the motorcycle collection is quite small and only relatively recently started...but growing!)
Yes, it is on the Bucket List! Our good friends have a Cottage on the Chain of Lakes, so I am up there a couple times each summer, it's two hours away.

I can say with absolute confidence that getting from the Chain of Lakes to the Gilmore is a 3 hour drive on average. If you want to make the trip, give me a shout a couple weeks ahead of time and I might be able to offer accommodations in one of our guest rooms and our membership includes 2 guests.
