Hi I think that I know the answer but would just like to get a consensuses on valve seals on a 400 4, 4 new seals came in my gasket kit and the Haynes manual lists 4 required although the exploded drawing shows seals on both the inlet and exhaust and another manual uses the same exploded diagram but lists 8
The tops of the valve guides are square on the inlet and conical on the exhaust and although the seals fit on both the better fit is on the inlet with the square tops.
My assumption is that the seals fit on the inlets valves but would like some conformation
