« on: June 12, 2024, 06:36:05 PM »
If anyone is interested in getting some Chrome work done , Pacific Plating in Santee California just re-chromed my CB400F original Double wall Pipes.

The 2 Places in Seattle wanted over $1000.00. They did an outstanding Job for $450.0 + $35.00 shipping . He said 4-5 weeks and they were at my door in 4 weeks

They even Took out some dents on the bottom.(weld repair for free)

That’s amazing. Nobody around me will even touch used pipes. Lucky you!

Lucky you! In the People's Socialist Democratic Republic of Oregon we do not allow any chrome shops

Link has been bookmarked.  I've got a pair of CA77 Dream mufflers that are a bit tatty, and rechroming them will almost always be cheaper that sourcing good replacements....

Headers vs mufflers , big difference , a lot of shops will de header pipes as they can blast all of the carbon out but normally won't do the muffler.

Great price I have heard of them and I will have to add them to the contacts.

There is a shop around San Diego which takes the parts into Mexico where the laws a little more relaxed and they are done there . Maybe this is the shop?

I had a complete Kaw H1 exhaust system done in Austin a couple years back, I just removed the baffles.
