Hi from Middle England
« on: June 15, 2024, 06:04:32 AM »
Afternoon all… couple of weeks ago I picked up my 550 K3… a long trip down from Leicestershire to the south coast with a trailer…. And managed to put a dent in the tank when loading it (it fell over >:()
Anyway… tank and side panels are with a local paint genius … I’m hoping to get out on it within a week or so  8)

Hello, welcome!  :)
That's a fine looking example.
I hope the dents come out ok.

Thanks again for the warm welcomes  8)
Tank and side panels now back from painting… dents pulled out and painted in Candy Kent Brown… which appears a bit lighter than what was on it before…..
And the transfers are now in the right position😎
Sump gasket replaced… no more drips.. and carbs cleaned and balanced … running much better …. If any one over the pond knows Henry Cole - this was owned by him for 4 Years …so it’s likely his genius mate Allen Millyard has had his hands on it  ;D
